In a nutshell you’ll be eating a Starch Based, Whole Food Plant Based Diet with no oil. For many that sounds like a very unexciting way to eat, but let me assure you it’s all about variety. It’s easier to ask what you won’t eat versus what you would eat. We cut out meat, dairy and eggs.
We replace those with starchy and non-starchy vegetables. Welcome potatoes, pasta, rice and grains back to your plate in large amounts. Not to mention all of the non-starchy vegetables which are too many to name.
You will find that your hunger cues will return in a balanced way and you’ll be eating until you’re “full”. Satiation is a key term to get used to. Being satisfied with what you’re eating is something many of us have lost that you will quickly regain.
1 on 1 personal coaching (primarily virtual: Texting, Phone Calls, Zoom meetings and if you’re local I would love to meet in person).
I’m here to teach you how to eat…differently. I eat. I eat a lot. I want you to eat a lot too. Loading up on the starch of your choice throughout the day is a joy.
There are so many opportunities each day to learn how to eat more efficiently. I’ll text you photos of all of my meals and you’ll do the same. I will ask you questions and answer any you have for me. It’s like we’re having one long conversation. I’m here for your journey. For some of you I’m only here for the beginning. You’ll learn quickly how easy it is to eat this way and your training wheels will fall right off. For others you’ll enjoy the confidence and candid back and forths. As your weight releases you’ll understand the why’s and how come’s of The Sloth Diet.
Please reach out to me if you cannot find an answer to your question.
$1,200.00 for the first 45 days (Expected weight loss 5-20 lbs)
$345.00 for every additional 30 days. (Expected weight loss 4-10 lbs per month)
It’s not necessary for this way of life. Is it beneficial? Yes. I’m not going to lie and say that zero exercise is the best strategy for health. At the bare minimum I would recommend a daily walk of 30 minutes if you can. Should you begin to overdo exercise you’ll find that your appetite will increase and it can make your weight loss more of a challenge.
Yes at the end of the day this way of eating is Vegan. We aim to avoid animal products. This is the definition of Vegan that I subscribe to:
“Veganism is a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals.”
Yes once a week you’ll weigh in and report your weight. This will give both of us a good visual way to see how far you’ve come. It also helps to write some of your thoughts next to each weigh in. Being able to look back on your thoughts and feelings along your journey allows you to realize really how far you’ve come. Like I mentioned before this is a Mental Health journey and expressing where you are mentally and emotionally is equally as important to have lasting change.
Yes please take a full body picture (in underwear if comfortable) and a good selfie shot. I’m all about the face gains. Please send me your selfie and ONLY if you’re comfortable the body picture. These photos will ONLY be shared with your written consent. Again this journey is about progress and being able to see and track that progress is more of a reward than any type of negative reinforcement.
